Unsuccessful save as .xpm can produce an extra warning

Defect descirption Saving an image that's too big for .xpm format results in an extra warning on next attempt to save (in any format)

Steps to reproduce

• Open an image bigger than 256x256
• Select File > Save as...
• Pick .xpm as the filetype and click save icon
• Click ok twice in the error dialogue boxes
• Select File > Save as... again

Expected result The 'save as' dialogue box appears

Actual result An error dialogue box appears first
