+1 to this. Maybe displaying the export button should export **all non-post** option related: admin options and theme customizer options. Then import should expect also all non-post options. Ideas?

I'm not sure about the menus though. Tried that once, WP doesn't have an API for that and the techniques are hackish at best :(
Can you describe this in more detail? Do you mean sliders like in the **number option**?
