Gnome Vault of My Own not unlocking

It would seem this achievement also does not unlock. I have carried the gnome all the way to bringing the vault down, but he does not come with me into the map transition. Similar to deadliest catch, both of these involve the use of the "left hand" in VR, but without that ability, they do not unlock for me. I know the devs said all achievements are earnable, but I installed using the manual installer and I held him as the vault came down, but he disappears so... yeah just bringing this to the devs attention, like with the other one.
