Snap track to map route

When using recording a track while driving, I do not like its aspect; if you stop at a traffic light, or even if you stop and go with a short stop, GPS starts recording non accurate positions and it shows location artifacts as if you were moving in rounds. Would be desired to add a functionality to be chosen manually to snap the route to OpenStreetMap routes, so the track shows pretty clean (and what is more important, more accurate).

I have no idea whether it is or not easy to add this functionality, but would appreciate your comments or even the inclusion of it. Whatever it is done, I am really grateful for your repo.
