@praveenkumar I agree - but my understanding is that to hit the issue you have to pull by layers (SHA 256 HASHes) - but that it should work via name:tag
Does plain CentOS work? does plain CentOS with a private network declaration work?

@maxandersen also, can you verify which version and of what box you are trying. What version of virtual box? What version of Vagrant? and the output of `vagrant plugin list`

@maxandersen I cannot recreate this. The only difference was I used vagrant 1.8.1. Which Vagrantfile are you using? I started with a plain one and did a private network line.
