Other ways besides python?

I know its a bit far fetched to ask here, but is there another way of 'talking' to these controllers? Could I send them php POST requests perhaps?

I'm trying to get an android app called Tasker to talk with these lights.

I'm working on a REST API in Flask that I'll upload as a repo. I'll send you a link when it's done, if you still need an API.

If its just socket requests, it might be easier to just do it with tasker, now that its got that built into it.
