Ten thousands of users, nearly a decade that Grocy does this like so, you're the first one who seems to have a big problem with it... Nothing goes wrong, so...
Even if you personally would like to see that, nothing is broken. Please don't declare such things as big bugs. Feel free to enhance the documentation, I don't care too...

I personally would also organize that with Chores or Batteries - it's basically the same about date tracking and having a journal for that... Maybe we could introduce "Chore categories"...
