using custom templates for buttons and etc

Currently, actionbar.js uses label and icon-name for fontawesome.

I guess it would be more usable with custom templates.

Anyway, I find this small lib very handy, but doesn't see much action in the repo.
May I ask if you know other alternatives of actionbar.js?
