An update can be made to the documentation.

I've connected an CX410 and this works as expected. motion and person detection successfully triggered and received in MQTT.

motion event seems to work for me. But the settings (for example the whiteled brightness setting doesn't seem to be updated unless i restart the container. I've waited now for about 10mins.

Does this work for you?

Thank you for your report. I'll add the CX410 to the tested cameras.

Yes. I just tested the behaviour and it works as intended. But there is a quirk. The spotlight brightness and state are only published to MQTT if they were changed from cam2mqtt. If you change the spotlight state or brightness using the WebUI or App, it won't be published to MQTT. This is a technical limitation, because cam2mqtt cannot receive an event when a parameter is changed from another source and therefore it cannot send the updated state to MQTT.
