In that case, you might want to look at [mcerp](https://github.com/tisimst/mcerp) which does Monte Carlo error propagation (though that hasn't been updated in a while either).

`rich` is an amazing library. By the way, it can also do really nice progress bars and spinners so it can replace `tqdm` too.
I don't know if a Type 1 version is necessary, but a native LaTeX math font (i.e. without using `unicode-math`) certainly is. `unicode-math` causes some strange problems with boldface etc....
That was my point. A `firamath` package that loads the font like a traditional LaTeX math font without `unicode-math` would be very helpful. I don't know if this requires a...
