As far as I can tell my other plugings homebridge-nuki and homebridge-http-webhooks have the problem with door/window sensors and locks as well.
Should be same as #27.
The both use the same method to update the state.
If you install the plugin via his git url what else would you want to test? Maybe I dont get your question :-)
Well it does continous polling and updating. For me, I wouldnt want to program around a bug of apple, since this issue is not only in the people plugin. But...
@OultonD why didn't you fork the project? at least github doesnt show that your repo was forked.
A reason might be that connection is not successful when switching between wifi an 3g while leaving or arriving home. If the used app doesnt do retries on failed connection...
