Parameter that tell's automin what filename to use (improves caching methods)

Hi Jesse,

i was wondering if the following option would be something to add to automin.

What i'm finding is that when using automin in combination with agressive caching via CE Cache the file naming method you use is causing a bit of dilemma.

When i update a css file i want these changes to be visible as soon as possible. So i need to remove the created .css file to ensure automin will renew this file to reflect those changes. Problem is that it's possible the filename automin will create could change. And if this happens all of the cached pages will point to a non-existent .css file.

A parameter that would enable me to tell automin the filename i want it to use would be briljant. Then the filename won't change but the ?v=1231234 would, ensuring that people who had the css already loaded will fetch the new version directly and i won't need to destroy the entire cache and slow down the site.

What's your take on this?

With kind regards, Bas van Ginkel
