Vim keymap support (feature)

There might be other ways of achieving this (do you know?). I tried only vimium plugin in chrome and it didn't work on stackedit.io (that plugin also doesn't work in github editor).

So uhh, any news on this? Anyone have a thought as to how this would even be started? I could just add a +1, but I would love to know more than just that. What would I need to do to add vim support?
