Do you mean “shortcut” as in grammar (e.g., [[TOC]]), or “shortcut” as in “keyboard shortcut”?

You can write a custom template to convert [TOC] markers as described here: https://community.stackedit.io/t/replace-toc-markers-with-tables-of-contents-in-your-exports/33
