PDF generation fails on linebreak/article/strikethrough

The Wilford Woodruff Papers failed one one of their exports when a line-break occurred inside a subject link's verbatim text, inside a strike-through. We should be able to address this programmatically through escaping something within the markdown.

try testing without the xelatex "-halt-on-err" call.
