Note edits not saved

A volunteer with NBWM pointed this out:

1. Go to a page in transcribe mode
2. Perhaps make a few changes and save them
3. Add a note. SAVE the note
4. Later edit that note to add a line. press UPDATE
5. Later go to edit that note again and the 2nd line has disappeared.
