What shows up in Device Manager when the module is plugged in? The differences between the firmware types are explained on the download site - https://downloads.multi-module.org
Based on that it should be working. I'm out of ideas.
You should try [lpc176x](https://github.com/OctoPrint/OctoPrint-FirmwareUpdater/blob/master/doc/lpc176x.md) or [marlinbft](https://github.com/OctoPrint/OctoPrint-FirmwareUpdater/blob/master/doc/marlinbft.md). MarlinBFT is probably the better option, but it's quirkier to set up.
