ERROR (UN)LOCKING DEVICE - PLEASE CHECK IMMEDIATELY!
I keep getting this error in home assistant lately, when I try to set a lock state on my CatFlap Connect:
Failed to call service sureha/set_lock_state. ERROR (UN)LOCKING DEVICE - PLEASE CHECK IMMEDIATELY!
when I try to change the pet location manually, I get
Failed to call service script/toggle_pet_location. Setting position of [PET_ID] failed!
how can I check if these errors are from the integration, hassio or surepet changed something on their API?
Same issue here, tried reinstalling package etc, still same issue
For clarity - it's still showing correct flap status (locked, unlocked etc) but appears to now have zero control over the locking
@benleb now surepy has the API fix merged in would you be able to bump the version and release a new version for the SureHA users?
or given the last release was 2021 is your current advice to abandon this addon and switch to the native HA version?
I noticed that the hub ears are also not blinking anymore, when the cat looks through the door or enters/exits the house.

Hi @benleb , just confirming that the lock/unlock setting isn't currently working for everyone due to API changes? Are you confident you can overcome this? Thanks for all your efforts! (desperately missing the ability to tell Google to lock/unlock our catflat..)
@benleb thank you so much for making this integration, the best end goal i can see it to make it completely local. I dont think its actually that hard based on some of the documentation i have read in the past. i did get it working locally but it was not 100% right (was with PHP if and DNS faking) so i switched back to the APP. i know that there has been lot of updates since then so not sure now. once i discovered home assistant then i simply used your integration. hope you can get it sorted and if you need help i have feeders and 2 flaps on seperate accounts, happy to share details and logins if you need to test.
