No way to enable motionplus on the wiimote?

Environment

  • OS: Windows 10
  • version: 1.9.17

Describe the bug I am unable to detect the motionplus data from my remote, despite being a wii remote plus (RVL-036, built-in motionplus).

Comparatively, dolphin and GlovePIE are able to detect motionplus from the remote (on same windows computer). GlovePIE seems to "turn on" the motionplus feature by running an initial calibration(the motionplus boolean remains false untill this is finished).

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. connect wii remote plus to windows pc using bluetooth
  2. open chataigne with wiimote hardware module

Expected behavior Chataigne should detect the motionplus data from the remote. (yaw data, motion plus Boolean)

It could be implemented but I personally don't have time for that. You can definitely do the modification and push a PR for it
