IOS support for iPad
Is there planned release/support for iOS for iPad use?
For which use ? The interface itself is not touch-oriented, considering the way you navigate and create things, it's ways more optimized for touchpad / mouse + keyboard interaction. That being said, there is a custom dashboard system that allows you to access with any browser controls from a Chataigne running on the local network and create your own layout, which is way more efficient.
You can check about that and ask questions on the Discord server
I'm currently using an iPad to control DMX light sequences through a wireless controller. It'd be really nice to be able to use Chataigne instead with more automation options.
I'll check out the Discord.
You could have a raspberry pi as the server and chataigne on it, and either use VNC to control the interface (I managed to create some light setup just with my phone and a raspberry through VNC), and/or create a nice dashboard to access from the tablet
Mac silicon is now compiling, so you could try compiling it yourself and see ! There is quite bad touch support right now, I'll spend some time in the coming weeks to improve that
Thank you very much for your effort. I look forward to hearing from you.
