Mega Convertor outputs show up as "float" even if I have renamed them
Environment
- OS: MacOS 12.1
- Version 1.9.6
I have renamed the converted parameters in the mega-convertor, but in the mapping output pink menu they show up as "Value 1: Float" "Value 2: Float".
I would expect these to have the names; otherwise, what is the point of allowing rename in the first place?
The "Float" here is not showing the name, but the type or sub-component name if it's a complex parameter (P2D : X/Y , P3D: X/Y/Z). The names of the parameters are not passed through the mappings right now, it's a known possible improvement to support it but it's a big refactor to keep everything clean.
In your case, I don't really understand the use of a mega converter (or is it just for showing the issue ?), since you can just use the color parameter to link, and then you would have the Red, Green and Blue component names in your linking menu
