Stage 3D view not working on mac silicon(cannot parse response)
Environment
- OS: [e.g. Windows 10, MacOS 10.14]
- Version [e.g. 1.7.2]
Describe the bug When I click on "Stage 3D View", I see a white screen and it says "cannot parse response"
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: Open Blux 1.2.0b8 on silicon mac os Click on view => Stage 3D View The first time I did this, I just saw a white screen, but after saving the file, closing blux and reopening, it I see cannot parse response
I right click and clicked reload, and still saw the same issue.
Expected behavior See the unity view
Additional context It seems to work fine on windows.
There is no 3d view for Mac right now you can compile and export it yourself, the repo is here : https://github.com/benkuper/BluxWebViz
I'm surprised. I thought the 3D view is just a web app running in the web view? Is there really something platform dependent? But I believe there is currently no official way to get the "server" folder of the web view!?
ah, that's true the export is actually webGL so it could run on mac the same way. And yes, no automated way to download it yet, as it is super beta
I just pushed a new release, just unzip the server to Documents/Blux/server https://github.com/benkuper/BluxWebViz/releases
Hi, any news about a Mac silicon version for stage 3D view? I'm running the Blux last beta version.
Thanks Ben or anyone. Emmanuel
Have you tried the link above ? It should just work

Hi Ben, I downloaded the server.zip file. The thing is that there is no file called "server" in my documents. I tried looking at it in the library but I couldn't find any Blux file either. Can you tell me where to place the zip? Thanks Emmanuel
You have to create the folder server in Documents/Blux and unzip the files in it

So I just did but now like @BananaNeil I have a "cannot parse response" message.
