Using kkp in a terminal messes up programs run after

I'm using kkp on WezTerm, and I alias emacs to emacsclient --create-frame -t.

I noticed programs like watch and less messing up after having run Emacs in the same terminal.

1. Open a new WezTerm tab
2. Run watch and less; notice that you can kill watch with ctrl+c, scroll through a file using less.
3. Run emacs, then ctrl+x+c immediately
4. Rerun watch and less, they don't have the previous behavior.
5. Run reset, watch and less behave again.
