Option for when email already exist in list
Might be a very specific request, but, I'm working on a site currently where users will be able to sign up to a mailchimp list to get future updates whenever the product is release (it's a pre-order campaign).
There are three unreleased products which customers can apply for future stock availability. Let's say a customer tries to sign up for two of the products, I imagine Mailchimp will throw an error saying the email already exist in the list, no?
Would be awesome to be able check if the content of the specified listField is the same as before, or different and in that case, update the existing listField to include (important not to erase previous value) the new listField value.

I am kind of hoping for the same thing @intelligence . I have website where we have different tournaments and players will sign up for each one. So one month they sign up for that tournament and the next month different one. I need the group to be updated when they sign up for each tournament.
yeah i'd love to include this. good idea. im a bit swamped with work right now but happy to look into this later this summer.
anyone @here want to take this on? i imagine / hope mailchimp returns a value we can key off of to know if an email already exists in a list then we can handle that special case.

@benjaminhoffman I can try to help and see what I can do. Not sure if I will be any help. But I do understand Gatsby way more today than last year. 😊
