trying to add your language switcher to PHPBack

I am trying to add your code to the PHPBack (https://github.com/ivandiazwm/phpback) project. The toggle seems not able to get the language files. In PHPBack he has them set up like so /application /language /english default_lang.php /french default_lang.php

What would I need to change, adapt to make use of your switcher?
