I'm happy to provide a PR if that's wanted but we should agree on a format first and maybe if one want seperate formats for v4 and v6

I would suggest to use `[Adress]:Port` for IPv6 and plain `Adress:Port` for IPv4. Discarding the brackets here does not harm imho.

Thanks for the heads up with the local addresses. I thought it could be as simple as checking the addr length 🤔 The notation with the brackets and the port...
