I thought I also drop the link to fiddle here: Hi there, came across here today with the same problem. I created a fiddle that can be adapted to use with Gravity Forms. Maybe it's useful for somebody wanting to create the same functionality:

  1. Type in Address -> creates map and marker at that location
  2. Drag or click marker to update the coords and the address
