Hi, thanks for reporting this!

I’m currently looking into the issue. To help me debug it, could you let me know:

  • Operating system: Are you using Windows, macOS, or Linux?
  • Crash timing: Does the program crash before or after it asks where to save the export?
  • Save location: Are you saving the file to your local hard drive, or to a cloud-synced folder like OneDrive, Dropbox, or similar?

Any extra detail about what happens right before the crash would be helpful. Thanks again — I’ll work on getting this resolved as soon as possible.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

1.I'm using a Windows OS. Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700T @.*** RAM: 16GB 2. It crashes just when I try to export the csv. 3. I didn't get any prompt where I can save the export file, I tried the settings also but it just shows me the confidence threshold.

I was using named .JPG files (Leopard 01, Leopard 02......). Thanks in advance for your help.

Best Wishes, Garry

Hi Gary,

I've not been able to reproduce the error, but I have identified some possible reasons for it and have just released a new version, v1.0.1, which looks to address them. Instead of reporting errors back to the interface, previously, they would crash the program.

Please could you download the latest version from https://camtrap.net/detector and see if the issue remains?

If it does still happen, would you be open to sharing the images you're trying to process so I can more closely try to reproduce? Of course, they would be deleted after identifying and fixing the issue.

Thanks, Ben

Hi Garry, there's a new version been released that may be worth trying out. Otherwise as per prior comment if you'd be able to send over the images you're processing it would be great to work out what's happening and fix.
