If you are banned from chat, then rejoin the room, you can technically type but no one will see your message.

Describe the bug I was banned from chat for rickrolling people with a music bot. I left and rejoined and when I tried to chat, I didn't get the "you were banned from chat" error. I could type and I even got the cooldown message, the thing is, nobody could see my messages. Even I couldn't see my own messages.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Get banned from chat.
2. Rejoin the room
3. You can type like normal :O but no one will see your messages. Even you can't see your own messages.

Expected behavior I should still get the "banned from chat message".

What device are you on? Doesn't matter but Windows 10 and the latest version of Chrome.

Shadow banning has not been implemented yet.

it's a bug there are no shadow bans yet

And with shadow bans, you should still be able to see your own messages, otherwise it would give away that you're banned.
