Allow status updates via private IRC
Something I say a bunch of stuff in IRC and realize it's a good status update. I don't want to re-post in IRC as it's noisy for others.
I'd like to go to my team status page and copy/paste that into a new update.

How about a priv message to status bot? Where you explicitly specify the room as the first word, where if that room doesn't exist yet, it's an error (to handle accidental omission).
Should status not then public ally reply in room you say "ozten updated his status?"

Going to my teamstatus app tab would be less friction and require no memory.
Private message is clever and if easy to build, do it!
Can it chirp to me when I query it? or does it not know until I say: "help"
@ozten I'm not so hot on adding an update interface via the web, as that just increases complexity of the system a good bit more to counteract a small pain. Are you okay with the private messaging approach?
private messaging handlers are working for other functions, I'm going to change this bug to be "status update via private message" and put it on the queue!
