Why is the logo pancakes?
Inquiring minds wish to know!
As a followup: is it pronounced csharp-ee-eh or is it csharp-ee-er? I always assumed the former (probably cause I'm Canadian and it follows the shape of a French word) but my American coworkers say the latter ;-;

It is the later, it was kind of a play off of prettier which it is ported from.
As for the pancake logo, that's just my personal image I use. It was originally a joke when I called myself a "short stack developer". Short stack being a stack of pancakes.
The csharpier logo isn't pancakes but my image probably shows up all over the gh.
I have taken the liberty of creating a logo for csharpier. It's a plate with a crepe on it (french pancake, sorry it's csharp-ee-eh now otherwise the logo doesn't make sense). bill gates smiles upon it for it tastes good (metaphor for the C# code being well formatted)
this is the best I could draw with a trackball sorry
The answer to the original question is – probably – that you mistook the logo in front of the text csharpier on the Github repository page as the logo for the software. Github shows the logo of the owner of the repository (person or organisation) of the repository in front of the name.
