Alright. Maybe this is related to the sound, but in any case this will be resolved in the FWC branch once that lands.
This is a general issue with cards that transform in hand (Spellstones, but also Unidentified Items and Worgens). They need some custom, card-specific logic.
Blocking this on #164 for performance reasons.
