Enable URL params in root

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Currently, as I recall (although it's been a minute since I've attempted this), Architect projects can use URL params at the root (e.g. /:foo).

Describe the solution you'd like We should ensure these work in Begin APIs, so folks do not necessarily have to use the greedy get / handler.
