how do i link my acc
it will ask you to link once you start one of the modes, tells you to go on microsoft account link and enter the code to allow it to login to minecraft. theres no dedicated login button since this should already be easy enough. i can add one if its needed though
it has to send a request to the Minecraft API to get a token that proves to Minecraft servers that you own the account (ie online mode). without the token signed by mojang you can't join any servers that are online mode, which is (basically) all of them
Thanks, also why does defender tell me to scan my device every time I download the tool? It's never done this as it usually quarantines things it deems as malicious instead of simply telling me to offline scan. Just wondering.
that could just be because its an unsigned exe, i dont have a code signing certificate; theyre quite expensive. i think you mean cloud scanning thing thats normal its running some tests against the exe to check its not doing anything malicous instead of just checking if its in its database of known malicious software
