The `Dockerfile` in the root of the repository is outdated. If you need an environment in which to build Faiss, you can look at the docker files in `.circleci/`.
Note: They should be cleaned up as part of `~Segment()` in `tensorpipe/util/shm/segment.cc`.
It does not return anything.
Looks good apart from minor nits – are there some early results of it working on AMD GPUs?

From what I can tell going back (through history) to a large function in the decompiler widget, there is significant latency each time.
To clarify the situation: there is no plan on our end to make Java wrappers for Faiss, so it would have to be a community effort.
