The application process does not close

Expected Behavior

The application completely closes.

Actual Behavior

The process of the application sometimes does not completely close. Even though the window has closed and the taskbar icon has disappeared. The application leaves behind an unclosed process. It can even be more than one unclosed process. This seems to happen if the application was used multiple times with a separate launch of the application each time.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start the application
  2. Use to application on one PDF
  3. Close the application with the x in the top right corner of the application window

27/01/2024 I don't have a fully reliable reproduction of the issue yet. 15/02/2024 The issue is reproducible to me. Strangely enough, it does occur every time after processing a PDF, but not if I close the program window before processing a PDF.
