We actually have the facilities for that, and used to do it in an earlier version. The problem is that if you let stats drive visibility then you need active moderation of the FP, especially when the stats are gameable (which # of seeders is). We don't really have the resources for that atm.

right now, dat://hashbase.io doesn't resolve. if you wanted the quickest way to fix that-- static site, no stats, no "top archives" or any of that fanciness-- maybe just say what Hashbase is & link to the (https:) app for ppl to use?

one interesting thing ~ the dat version of the site has a slightly different audience than the old web version. if someone made it to dat://hashbase.io, that means they already have beaker installed. the pitch can be super succinct bc they already know what dat is & what beaker is ✨
Solid mockup! I think you're right. Shouldnt be too hard, just need to make the dat, add a config line for setting it, and then host it on hashbase.
