@alternativ did you compile this yourself ? Or, did you use a packaged version ? I've been experimenting with compiler flags, and behavior like this suggests optimization problems.
@alternativ there are alignment issues in old versions of rtorrent. If you are running a version prior to the latest, I am unsure of the behavior. I recommend updating rtorrent...
