As a counterpart of asymmetric t (#1836), as seen in Ubuntu.
Seems to be another of those "futuristic"-style variants.
I tried searching for monospace fonts that has this form, and found a few with other varying features:
Moki
Proportional (flat top):
Mono (full top hook):
Galexica Mono
(Unrelated but this font also has a few other variants suggested here like those in #1269 or #1997)
Heimat Mono (Has an asymmetric
f
with serif)
Monomono
Targa Pro Mono
(Interestingly this font has the asymmetric form for the Monospace version and not the proportional one. The reverse is true for Ubuntu)
Some more proportional samples:
From the Stars
Ahrefs
I was going to mention this too so I could make a quasi-proportional ss12
font based on normal Ubuntu.
You've actually read my mind several times with issues you've raised in the past.
