I had no idea either! It was added back in 2011 in 20efdb0f88bb01e6bd973d12baec9510882fd235. It looks like there are no others. Proposal for how/where to document it?
Dupe of #1137 where the fixes are linked. The new syntax is `-m pkgbase=base_latest -U https://pkg.freebsd.org/pkgbase`
Is this in poudriere-devel or release?
#977 will probably fix this. It has a lot of changes to process handling that should ensure things get cleaned up properly.

What processes are still running in the jails for that job? Check `jls` and `ps uaxwJ $jid` for both of the jid listed in `jls` that match that job.
This code has changed quite a lot. I am going to assume it is fixed for 3.5.0.
It would help to see the error output. Check in the log dir for a `.poudriere.pkg_deps%` file. This should contain the dependency graph.
`altroot` seems like a temporary thing. What's the use case for something like this?
