Request: SVG Optimizer
It would be cool if Codekit would be able to optimize not only raster formats but as well as SVG files. SVG optimiser is a neat online tool which might be an option:

at the moment SVGs aren't shown in the interface at all but they might be handled like raster images, just with the svg optimized instead of the standard raster optimization routines applied. And there wouldn't be the need to be online for an SVG optimization anymore. Best regards Ralf
Watch out for SVG optimisers that strip code, as i've found that they break .svg's when shown on samsung tabs/notes, making them not scale when set to width 100%
I'm just dipping my toe in the waters of SVG, but this feature idea gets a +1 from me.
+1 for SVG tools. This might be too out there, but being able to automate the SVG spriting workflow in this article would be amazeballs.

If you don't hate terminal completely, you can optimize SVG's already with "svgo" https://github.com/svg/svgo
It would be awesome if it was built into CK2 ofcourse

Looking forward to this feature very much. +1.

It would also be cool if it could automatically generate png versions of those SVGs, for fallbacks. Just an idea.
A good idea! Raster fallback is a major feature in new vector web.
Can we also make it so the files are blessed and it exports animated gifs of the process...

+1 for SVG (and another +1 for generating PNG fallbacks)

I find myself using SVGs more and more by the day, and often I have to manually optimize them. +1 for this (doubly so if CodeKit can automatically generate PNG fallbacks too!).

+1 (especially the PNG fallbacks too).
Big +1 for this. Having to manually use SVGOMG and Grumpicon is the only thing tempting me away from Codekit and onto Grunt (and would be sad to do that as I love CK!)

yes please
