That's kind of out of scope of a Mod Manager.

Ok, accepted after feedback from other people on discord. Not a priority though.

It's a feature I thought about sometimes. Because some mods change some options in empire designer and thus you sometimes need to remember which mods are associated with a empire you created. But the question is, when should I replace user_empire_designs.txt with an empty one and when should I save the content of this file in order to apply it each time a user apply a mod list (and also need to keep the original one)

It's not uninteresting, not a priority however. (say the guy who break is empire design each time he swap to his test list :stuck_out_tongue: )

yeah, it's specially annoying with origins. Though it might have been fixed in 2.7, I definitely found in 2.6 if I started the game missing an origin, any custom empire that had the origin would have it replaced in the user_empire_designs file with Prosperous Unification. Most other things it just throws an error and won't let you play that empire, but once you reactivate the mod is fine.

the mod managers for Skyrim that I've used (Wrye Bash and Mod Organiser) both supported per-profile saves/config, so I don't think its outside of scope to handle per-profile user empires. I would just stick it into your vNext queue for some time in the future.
