Assumes dark background

Open zacharywhitley opened this issue 3 years ago • 6 comments

The default color theme seems to assume a dark background. If the console has a white background it's very difficult to read.

You can inverse colors by r command line option. It may be useful to change it in runtime and save to settings.

Thanks. I probably should have looked for the before creating an issue. Thanks for the great tool!

It looks like it's '-i' for invert. '-r' is reverse container sort order. Just adding that for anyone following along.

Just to be on the same page: here is a screenshot of mate-terminal in light theme:

ctop mate-terminal light theme Could you please elaborate what exactly you thing may be better? I see the main issue is a gray font color

That's it. It's very hard to read the light grey text on a white background. Inverting with the '-i' helps and makes the text darker but only slightly. My only suggestion would be to make the text darker to boost the contrast.

Nice! Would be nice to add this as an option in .ctop.
