Show current transfer speed as a column or as a color in NET column

I just discovered ctop and I love it

One thing I would like to see is the transfer speed at the very moment of me looking. But thinking about it, the total transfer is likely considerably more useful.

But another column showing it? Or maybe as a color filling the cell, similarly as CPU or MEM use is shown.

  • but then what would be the the 100% of the column? Maybe all traffick of all containers combined and percentage of that?
  • and what about sending vs receiving? Different colors? color filling the cell from the other side?

I dunno, I am just floating idea... I just would want simple way to at quick glance see which of the container is saturating the network...

Currently you can sort by network usage i.e. sum of TX and RX. But the sum itself is not shown.
