From Steph Williams- Related to our analysis with EDW

"There is great danger with data integrity in EDW creating a cross walk between an institutions CIP code and SFAS code without institution confirmation that the cross walk is correct (last time this type of activity was done with out each institution reviewing the data was more than 30% incorrect). Because of the use of an SFAS program code being left to schools to choose, there is inconsistency and no way to truly know if the code has any relationship to the actual program and CIP code.

I believe these reports go to public and private institutions. These reports are connected to Private institution designation as they have more rigorous requirements.

The second report is data that is sent to the financial aid office and Institutional Research and Planning Department at each Public Institution. These reports provide funding summary information within an institution and across the sector."
