Implement Effective Date for PPD

  • Need UI. What does Student need to see?

Acceptance Criteria

  • [ ] Analysis to decided how the system will handle the effective and expiry date.
  • [ ] Remove PD legacy columns from database.
  • [ ]

Jason, if I understand the issue correctly: ATBC will send us two pieces of information:

  • An effective date (i.e. when the disability verification decision was approved by ATBC)
  • An expiry date (i.e. when a student's PPD status reverts from 'approved' to 'not requested'

The question you ask is how should we handle these dates with regards to particular in-progress applications?

Effective and Expiry Dates have different effects in different places: Student Account Profile

  • PD/PPD status shows 'approved' if today>effective date & today<expiry date
