Generate Report of Federal Restriction List Errors
Maybe #2536 is a better way/supplementary way of handling this issue.
User Story As a Ministry user, I want to be alerted to any students who are identified through NSLSC as having an active restriction, but a restriction type which SIMS does not currently recognize.
Description of Task: Generate a monthly report documenting all SABC students with Federal restriction codes which SIMS does not recognize.
Context: SIMS has built in restriction codes and associated impacts for all of the frequent restrictions which are anticipated from the Federal NSLSC restriction list received and processed daily.
However, there are additional uncommon restrictions which SABC still might need to know about. SABC staff will need to manually take action when one of these uncommon restrictions is encountered. Currently, there is no mechanism for SABC staff to identify students with unidentified restriction codes.
What's Included on Each Report
- A new entry for each student which contained at least one unknown restriction code
- First Name, Last Name, DOB, SIN associated with each student
- A list of all restriction codes associated with each student
- Aggregate details in the report header: 1) Date, 2) Number of students with at least one unknown restriction
Acceptance Criteria
- [ ] Create a process run on a monthly schedule which reads that day's federal Restriction List file and detects any students who have an active account in SIMS and who have a restriction with an unrecognized code.
- [ ] Create a report (.txt?) daily which summarizes all students from that month's report. The report should contain info consistent with the above section
- [ ] The report should contain FT and PT applications in one report
- [ ] When the report is configured, send it to [email protected] with the subject line "Monthly List of Students with Unknown Restriction Codes"
