continue profiling after finding new MLE

When profiling following an mle2() fit, profiling often finds a new better MLE. Currently profile() then stops and returns the new MLE. This is useful, but it seems like it might be nice to have an option to keep profiling by restarting the profiling with the new MLE. This is what I am doing manually right now. Thank you! marm
