Sorry bad English, I not sure how explain it using English words, then I will post screenshots. This is really troublesome, specially when happens 2 or more lines of text and makes impossible to understand the phrase context.

Someone know If is possible to fix it ?

I am using XUnity.AutoTranslator-ReiPatcher-4.13.0

The game is "Gears of Dragoon 2" https://vndb.org/v17988

This is the game text: 01

This is the text translated: 02

Hi. Two potential solutions/workarounds:

  1. Press ALT+1 to open up a window that shows the translation separately.
  2. Use the setting ForceSplitTextAfterCharacters to force-split generated translations after a set number of characters (will only happen to new translations, so you may have to clear the translation cache text file).

Thank you very much, ForceSplitTextAfterCharacters worked fine. I did several errors and trials to find the correct number, 90 is so much and 80 is perfect fine. ForceSplitTextAfterCharacters=80 is the perfect setting for this game, If someone someday wants to play it.

Tried as here skazano and nothing has changed. Changing the number 80 to 200 did not give any result. I deleted the old translation 80 200

sorry bad english.

Loli-Kyn I recommend you to delete all folders and files created by XUnity.AutoTranslator and make the configurations. is a pain in the ass to do it, but, is the unique way that I find to make it to work. I was forced to do it 30 times until I find the correct configuration that makes me confortable to play the game. Ans worse, I as alfo forced to restart the game every attempt.

In you care specially, is more than a pain in the ass: this is a status screen of a game that i believe is something like a RPG. tto the text fit in it you will be forced to decrease the number a lot, like ForceSplitTextAfterCharacters=30, but, when you return to normal text screen I the ADV mode, I presume, you will be forced to change again the configuration to ForceSplitTextAfterCharacters=80, but, for it to work, you will be always forced to DELETE all files and folder created by XUnity.AutoTranslator to make the new configuration to works, I guess, this will be a pain in teh ass, I not recommend to it, will be boring, you get it ?

The status screen that show in you picture is small, then you should use 30, but, when open the normal conversation screen, probably the screen text should be bigger, then you need to increase the number to 80.

I am sorry to use so much the word "Pain in the ass" but I not know other english word to describe something bothersome and boring to do.

EDITED: I noticed now that Night of Revenge is a action game. it not have a ADV screen where is the story or dialogs of the characters are spoken with each other ? If not, then a small number in the configuration will do. try 20 or 30. maybe 15 works.

You can list creation folders XUnity.AutoTranslator?

The only file you really have to delete is the one where the translations are stored in (_AutoGeneratedTranslations.txt by default).

The configuration file can simply be changed afterwards.

As for Night of Revenge specifically, I do not believe this feature will work that well for this.

It looks like the author of the game likely is using one big textbox to display a lot of unrelated texts.

So the way to fix this would be to manually fix the auto generated translation and include the required newlines that splits up the text properly (doing so is not that difficult, just add '\n' to the same places those exists in the original untranslated text).

(I have not tried the game in question so this is only a guess!!!)

But if you think about it, it will not remove large spaces between letters. I tried to delete the translation. If you put ForceSplitTextAfterCharacters 30, then the game will give an error Sorry for my English. I'm from Russia
