Create a (log) file ON THE HOST COMPUTER of the output from the serial port

Hi, The serial port is WONDERFUL! The only feature missing is the option to be able to save the output of the serial port onto the host computer as a file. Some terminal emulators allow this feature. Please add it to PythonEditor. Thank you!
